Trying to find ways to give back to the community, the men at the Work Ethic Camp in McCook, Nebraska volunteer to prepare donations for people in need at a local church every month.

The non-profit program is called The Sharing Place.

Nebraska teammates from Parole Supervision and Child Support are helping raise money for Nebraska's United Way with NDCS!

The men living at the Nebraska State Penitentiary wanted to give back to the Nebraska United Way charitable giving campaign this month.

In just four hours, they raised nearly $500.

The money raised will go to help a variety of non-profit organizations across the state.

Spotlight: Nearly 12 years ago, this limousine driver turned in one set of keys for another. Now, Corporal Stark is the Tool Control Corporal at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Lincoln Correctional Center. Stark says he’s never looked back since his driving days.

Stark originally made the move from the limousine business to keeping people safe for the good health benefits and full time pay. He says he’s always been interested in criminal justice and majored in it in college.
