Willard operates canteen, intake clothing issues, laundry, requests for new or replacement clothes, shipping and receiving, all which take place in the warehouse.

NDCS has many talented teammates. But in this case, it's the son of CCC-L Warden James Jansen who has a knack for craftsmanship.

Matthew Jansen presented TSCI Deputy Warden Scott Busboom and TSCI Major Boris Ilic with the hand-crafted bench he built for an Eagle Scout project. The bench features a nameplate dedicating it to the team members at TSCI. It's been placed in a prominent location to be enjoyed by all who enter the facility.

Team members at TSCI and across the agency appreciate all the work and effort Matthew put into this project. We are honored that he thought of TSCI and its team members when...Read more

A big thank you and shout out to Bass Meats for providing the delicious tasting hot dogs, burgers and pulled pork to the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). The day of this luncheon, the line started early, nearly causing the food truck to run out. That tells you something smelled good!

The food truck is part of an incentive program for the incarcerated population at CCC-L. It's a reward for those who follow the rules of the institution and stay out of trouble.

The program has been such a success, team members feel certain this food truck will be back in the future!Read more

Congratulations to these recent graduates of the Thinking for a Change (T4C) program at the Omaha Correctional Center and the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. Developed by the National Institute of Corrections, T4C is a high-level cognitive behavioral program that utilizes role playing to help participants address attitudes, behavior, family, friends and change criminogenic thinking. These men worked through the 13-week program to learn social skills, cognitive self-change and problem-solving techniques.

We’re proud of all the work they have put into their future success.
