November 2, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) is back in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). Krista Foley #392770 was arrested by the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, October 28. She disappeared on September 25, 2022 during a preapproved visit to a community church.

Foley started her sentence on October 27, 2021. She was sentenced to three years on a charge out of Douglas...Read more

November 2, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been arrested by the Omaha Police Department. Tabitha Viktora #392447 was taken into custody on October 27, 2022 and booked into the Douglas County Correctional Center. She disappeared from CCC-L on September 30, 2022 when she failed to return to the facility from her job in the community.

October 29, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Philip Garcia #87223, age 26, died today at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP). His sentence started February 27, 2018. Garcia was serving a 26- to 46-year sentence for theft by unlawful taking, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony and assault on a peace officer. All of the charges originated out of Scotts Bluff County.

October 13, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) just over three months ago, is back in custody. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s office arrested Seth Straub (#212998) today.

Straub disappeared on July 1. He failed to return to the facility from his job in the community. Straub’s sentence started on April 6, 2021. He was sentenced three to five years on a charge of theft by unlawful taking or disposition out of...Read more

October 6, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O) is in custody at the Douglas County Department of Corrections. The Douglas County Sheriff’s office arrested Matthew Hurich #80082 on Wednesday, September 28.

Hurich disappeared on September 22, when he left the facility with Clifford Brown #88039. Brown turned himself into the Omaha Police Department on September 26.

October 1, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Tabitha Viktora #392447 failed to return to the facility last night from her job in the community.

Viktora started her sentence on July 29 , 2020. She was sentenced to six to 10 years on a charge of attempted robbery out of Douglas County. She has a parole eligibility date of January 14, 2023 and a tentative release date of January 11,...Read more

September 28, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Danielle Zelazny #392919 was in downtown Lincoln today for an appointment, when she slipped away and disappeared.
