November 19, 2022 (Omaha, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O). Devante Prusia #83613 disappeared today while he was supposed to be at his place of employment. The electronic monitoring device he was wearing was removed.
Prusia started his sentence on February 23, 2016. He was sentenced to six to 10 years on charges out of Douglas County that include burglary and theft by deception. He has a parole hearing scheduled for November 23, 2022 and a tentative release date of February 13, 2025.
Prusia is a 29-year old black man, 6’ 3”, 190 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
