This list of resources and links is specifically designed by the SERVES team to advocate for the physical and mental wellness of our teammates. The agencies listed below provide supportive services to corrections team members, as well as law enforcement. We encourage our teammates to reach out to these organizations. Support is only a phone call away.

AA/NA Meetings 

For staff in recovery, we recommend selecting an AA/NA meeting that is identified as “closed”. NDCS incarcerated individuals do not attend AA/NA closed meetings.

First Responder's Foundation

Provides behavioral health and physical health services. They offer peer support meetings, spouse support meetings, therapy, workshops, addiction support groups, complete gym and more.

Desert Waters: Correctional Outreach

Correctional Oasis is a monthly publication that is free. 

Victory Riding Academy 

Victory Riding Academy is an Equine Assisted Therapy Center. The program combines learning to care for Equines (horses) with emotional support.

Counseling Referral List 

SERVES has created a list of vetted therapists who specifically work with first responders. This list is in addition to providing NDCS teammates with Deer Oaks information.
