September 14, 2023 (Omaha, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O). Austin Risor #84566 left his place of employment and did not return to CCC-O.  

Risor started his sentence on September 16, 2016. He was sentenced to 10 to 12 years for charges out of Madison County that include theft, operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, and drug charges. He has a tentative release date of February 24, 2024.

Risor is a 29-year-old white male, 6’0”, 260 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.

CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
