Victor Linchenko’s swift response demonstrates the importance of staff members relying on their training to resolve a life-threatening situation. A corporal at the time, Victor responded to an incarcerated individual who was choking during a meal at the Reception and Treatment Center. He quickly reacted and delivered aid that dislodged the obstruction.

For his actions, Victor was the recipient of this year’s In the Line of Duty Award. Thank you for your commitment to the NDCS mission: Keep people safe.
