November 9, 2022 (Omaha, Neb.) – Terry Inness #73246, age 75, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Reception and Treatment Center (RTC). His sentence started March 16, 2011. He was serving a 30- to 40-year sentence for two counts of attempted first degree sexual assault of a child out of Lancaster County.

While the cause of death has not yet been determined, Inness was undergoing  treatment for a medical condition. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS), a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
