While Volunteer Appreciation Month may have come to a close, our appreciation for our dedicated volunteers knows no bounds! Today, we are highlighting Carol and Victor Penrosa. They have volunteered with NDCS for the past 20 years, and they currently visit the Reception and Treatment Center twice a week to speak about spirituality and faith.

One of the men they meet with said Carol and Victor are important to the daily mental health of individuals because they provide time and space for thoughtful discussion and self-reflection — and they bring positivity and joy. Thank you, Carol and Victor!
