Our team members are our greatest asset to help keep people safe, and the new wellness suite at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) is dedicated to them. An area at TSCI was recently transformed into a multi-purpose space with a focus on team member wellness. Many hands were involved in bringing this vision to life. In fact, the entire staff at the facility voted on the color scheme of this space!

The wellness suite offers a variety of seating options to accommodate different types of gatherings and small group meetings. Teammates can utilize the provided yoga mats, balls, and DVDs for light exercise and mindful movement. This space also holds a library of wellness-related content and information provided by the Staff Empowerment and Resiliency/Victim Education and Support (SERVES) team.

Kudos to all involved in creating this fantastic space and helping to provide a place to support teammate wellness.
