November 20,  2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Alan Stack #210121, age 59, died this morning at Bryan Medical Center-West. He was incarcerated at the Nebraska State Penitentiary (NSP).

Stack started serving his sentence on August 20, 2019. He was sentenced 120 years to life on charges out of Sarpy County that included second degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.    

While the cause of death has yet to be determined, Stack was being treated for a medical condition. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
