March 31, 2019 (Lincoln, Neb) Adrian Rodriguez (26), #87054, turned himself in to the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-0) at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Authorities placed Rodriguez on escape status yesterday morning, when he failed to return to the facility from his place of work.
Rodriguez is serving a three year sentence for third degree assault of a peace officer. His tentative release date is scheduled for May 9, 2019. His case will now be referred to the Douglas County Attorney’s office for the determination of additional charges.
CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
