April 6, 2022 (Omaha, Neb.) – An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O) has been arrested. Kendall McNeese #210449 was taken into custody on March 29, 2022 by the Douglas County Sheriff’s office.
McNeese left CCC-O on February 24, 2022. He started his sentence on October 21, 2019. McNeese was sentenced to eight years to 13 years on charges out of Douglas County including first degree assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He has a tentative release date of July 18, 2025.
CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
