February 16, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L). Jonathan King #69029 left his place of employment this morning, and his electronic monitor was found near 84th and O Street.

King started his sentence on January 20, 2009. He was sentenced to 30 to 40 years for two counts of robbery out of Douglas County. He has a parole hearing scheduled in November 2024 and a tentative release date of September 7, 2028.

King is a 47-year-old Black male, 6’ 3”, 300 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.

CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
