The Community Justice Center (CJC) completed its 17th Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) “Restorative Justice -Victims Impact/Empathy (Life Skills) Class” on May 22.  Eighty nine percent of class participants rated the class Excellent! With eighty percent showing some level of empathy and/or insight in the effects their actions on their victims/community.  Two class participants said:  “I learned how to take care of my Emotional Hygiene and also how my victims really suffered".  “I now know what Restorative Justice is and how I’ve impacted the lives of my victims, community and family.”
