June 21, 2024 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Luis Gonzalez #76716, age 53, died today at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). 

Gonzalez’s sentence began on October 15, 2012. He was serving a 30 to 35 year sentence out of Adams County for first degree sexual assault of a child.

While the cause of death has not yet been determined, Gonzalez was being treated for a medical condition. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS), a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
