August 12, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that a staff member with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) is positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). The staff member is employed at the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L). The person is self-isolating at home.

TSCI inmate death

August 4, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Ronnie Main #35697, age 71, died at 12:05 p.m. on August 4, 2020 at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). His sentence started on December 29, 1983. Main was serving a 20- to 80-year sentence for two counts of first degree sexual assault out of Cheyenne County.
