September 27, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Today, Director Scott R. Frakes announced that two staff members with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) are positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). One staff member is employed at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). The second staff member is employed at Central Office. Both individuals are self-isolating at home.

Assault at LCC sends inmate to hospital

September 23, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) was hospitalized today for the treatment of serious* injuries resulting from an assault by another inmate. The assault occurred inside the facility’s wood shop.

Inmate missing from community correctional facility

September 22, 2020 (Omaha, Neb.) -- Authorities have been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O). William Wilder #85279 removed the electronic monitoring device he was wearing, which was recovered about two blocks west of the facility.

OPD arrests missing inmate

September 22, 2020 (Omaha, Neb.) – Officers with the Omaha Police Department arrested an inmate who failed to return to the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O) on Sunday, September 20, 2020 after attending religious services in the community.
